This was a fun project I did a while back. Something out of the norm and it was a fun way to do some new things and things I don't get to do too often.

I did have to keep this one secret for a while, so I am happy to finally share it with you all.

The finished product was clear coated by the customer and it turned out Awesome.

This has some hand turned gold leaf, multiple outlines around flaked panels and some cute gnomes.

This was a fun one to do!
What a neat truck!
He wanted simple lines and nice lowkey colors.

It was just enough to just dress it up a bit without overpowering the vehicle itself.

This was a fun hot rod that I have been adding to over the past few months.
This time around, I added the stripes to the outside of the car, with a large back piece on the trunk lid.
I was able to get it done in time for them to take it to Symco this year, some of you may have seen it.

The past few months have been really busy here in Stripes by Trish land, lol.
I am just realizing that I have been forgetting to post, so I will be getting to that shortly so you can see what I have been up to.

*Symco was great this year, the weather was perfect and the crowd was amazing as usual.

*This week, we are gearing up to head to Mississippi Mayhem.

I did some jobs in the middle of all of that, worked on some stock to take along to Mayhem and many other things.

I am extremely thankful for all of you!

I have some neat new ideas for the upcoming holiday season as well.
Once I iron out the details, I will be sharing the fun!

I did have one custom order, but didnt make it back to pick up their item. I am hoping someone can help since I lost the contact info.
I did a small lunch box for an older gentleman. The lunchbox said "Weston". We waited and didn't see him come back so I brought it back home with me. I will be at Mississippi Mayhem in a couple weeks or message me if anyone has any details.

We are safely back from Symco and have hit the ground running. It was a great Symco show, as usual and the weather was great!
I was able to get some pictures of custom items painted at the show. I did, however, miss some. So if you dont see your item, feel free to post!

Thank you to the friends that stopped and visited and to the new friends we made last weekend. Thank you also to everyone that bought something from us or had me paint something for you!

Impossible that it is already August!
We are off to Symco tomorrow....wowza!
We have had several issues and hiccups along the way these past weeks in preparation, but we will make it!
I have a pile of stuff to bring along including things to paint while we are there. Stop in, say hi and drop off things to have painted! (The sooner the better)
The weather looks to be promising....or atleast better than last year, so I will take it!
See you all soon!

I am working on sharpening my skills at painting/drawing graphics of vehicles and getting some to do's off of my list.

This project was a birthday present.
This was my rendition of his grandpa's truck that is now his.

All done by hand using 1-shot lettering enamels
