Another project checked off the never-ending homestead list. 😂🐾

We finally got the pups their own outdoor run! This gives them a safe, secure place to hang out and move around when we aren’t home. When we’re home, they’re out enjoying the property with us like usual. ❤️

It feels like there is ALWAYS something around here that needs built, fixed, cleaned or figured out… but little by little, we’re making this place work for our family.

Progress, not perfection. 🏡❤️

I finally replaced my dishes after almost 10 years. 🥹

I’ve used the same vintage dishes for nearly a decade, and I absolutely loved them. But over the years, little by little, pieces have been broken and our collection has gotten smaller and smaller.

Today was the last straw when two more plates were broken and I realized we officially didn’t have enough matching plates left to set the table for our family. 😂

So I did what I always do… searched Facebook Marketplace. And I found this whole set! 🤍

I’m a little sad to retire dishes that have been part of our home for so long, but I think these are so sweet on our table. I’m hoping they’ll hold up well to our busy, very lived-in household — and that I’ll grow to love them just as much as the old ones.

Here’s to another decade of family dinners around this table. 🤍

Finalizing class planning! 🐝🔬 Science for the win. So excited for this year as we explore ecosystems, weather & water, and the human body.

I’m using The Good and the Beautiful as one of my curriculum resources and adding lots of hands-on experiments, movement, games, and activities along the way. 💛

Someday I hope to create my own science curriculum. 🤞

The bunnies’ new outdoor enclosure has officially arrived! 🐰🙌

I’m SO excited to get this thing put together and finally get our bunnies moved out of the basement and into their new outdoor space. Now we just have to tackle the assembly this weekend… wish us luck 😂

Dinner a few nights ago. Deep fried pork chops. Turned out so good. This was my first time doing it, i usually make the husband deep fry stuff lol. It’s messy and hot and just not my favorite thing to do, but it turned out fantastic. 😋

Beef ravioli with some smoked sausage added in to beef it up, topped with fiesta shredded cheese. My mama’s homemade milk bread with butter, plus some cucumbers and grapes on the side.

Nothing fancy—just a good, filling lunch to get him through a long workday. Gotta keep that man fed! 😂❤️
