We’ve got about 2 weeks left on the Kickstarter.

I’m just going to be real — we still have a long way to go, but this is the part where things can actually start to move if people decide to jump in.

I’ve had quite a few people tell me they’re planning on backing, just waiting until the time feels right.

If you’re one of those people, this is that time.

If you already know you want to get tattoo work done when the new shop opens, backing now is the best way to lock that in at a bonus value and help make the shop actually happen.

No pressure at all — just being honest about where we’re at and what these next couple weeks mean.

If you’ve got an idea and want help figuring out what tier makes sense, feel free to message me.

Quick clarification about how Kickstarter pledging actually works, because a few people have asked.

When you pledge on Kickstarter, you are not charged right away.

Backers are only charged if the campaign fully funds, and that charge happens when the campaign ends on April 8th.

So pledging now simply reserves your reward tier while we work toward the goal.

If the project doesn’t fund, no one is charged anything.

For anyone who was already planning to get tattoo work done when the new shop opens, the campaign tiers are essentially a way to lock in that future tattoo time at a bonus value while helping make the new shop possible.

If you have a tattoo idea in mind and want help figuring out which tier would fit it best, feel free to message me and I can give you a rough time estimate.

Here’s another example of how the tattoo tiers in the Kickstarter campaign correlate to real tattoo work.

This Scooby-Doo themed sleeve took roughly 15–20+ hours to complete over multiple sessions.

The $1000 Kickstarter tier is designed for larger projects like this — tattoos that develop over several sessions and many hours of work.

This tier is especially meant for people who have been wanting to start or continue a larger multi-session piece.

Backing the campaign at that level helps support the new InkCraft studio while also giving you added tattoo credit toward work like this when the shop opens.

There are 10 spots available for this tier, with 1 already claimed.

Here’s another example of how the tattoo tiers in the Kickstarter campaign correlate to real tattoo work.

This color portrait of Iron Man took roughly 4–6 hours to complete.

The $600 Kickstarter tier is designed for tattoos in this range — medium to larger pieces that require several hours of work.

Backing at that level helps support the new InkCraft studio while also giving you additional tattoo credit toward work like this when the shop opens.

Here’s a real example of how the Kickstarter tattoo credit tiers line up with actual tattoo time.

This butterfly is roughly softball sized, and a tattoo like this usually takes about 1.5–2 hours, depending on detail and how the skin takes ink.

At my normal rate of $150/hour, that means something like this is typically $225–$300 worth of tattoo time.

Here’s how that lines up with the Kickstarter tiers:

• $150 tier → $225 tattoo credit
• $300 tier → $450 tattoo credit

So if you were already thinking about getting a tattoo around this size when the shop reopens, backing the campaign is essentially a way to lock in that future tattoo time at a bonus value.

That’s the whole idea behind the tiers — giving clients who were already planning work a chance to get extra value while helping bring the new shop to life.

If you have a tattoo idea in mind but aren’t sure which tier would cover it best, feel free to message me and I can give you a rough estimate.

Hey everyone — I want to quickly clarify something I’ve seen come up a few times.

The new InkCraft Tattoo shop is not built yet.

The photos you’re seeing on the Kickstarter page are concept and inspiration images — they represent the vision and design direction for what the new space will feel like if we fully fund this campaign.

Right now, there is no shop space. This campaign is what makes it possible.

If we fund, we build it together.
If we don’t, it remains a concept.

I appreciate everyone’s excitement and congratulations — it means more than you know. I just want to make sure there’s no confusion about where we’re at in the process.

This is step one.

And I’m grateful to everyone who’s part of it.

Grateful for the early backers who are laying the foundation.

If you’ve been watching, this is the stage where early momentum really matters.

I’ve been quietly working on the future of InkCraft behind the scenes.

Over the past few months, I’ve been strategizing and creating a path for what comes next. InkCraft has always been about offering a safe and welcoming environment, attentive collaboration with clients, and creating the best tattoo possible.

The truth is, InkCraft is nothing without you — the community.

That’s why I’ve created a Kickstarter campaign. This is a way for all of us — the community and InkCraft together — to build our future home for creativity and personal expression.

More details coming very soon.
Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I, for one, am incredibly excited for what we’re building next.
