Flowers get a lot of the attention around here, but this fragrant greenery deserves a moment of its own. We love the soft, airy texture it brings to an arrangement.

We cut some to dry, too, so a little of that summer garden will find its way into our dried floral creations this fall.

AUTUMN FLORALS// We tucked a little of summer away. 🌾

Before the season ended, we harvested strawflower, statice, sweet Annie, and more to hang and dry. Now those flowers are waiting for us to turn them into something you can enjoy through autumn and the holidays.

A little prickly, a little unexpected, and such a fun contrast to all those soft petals. We love the texture these globe-shaped blooms bring to a bouquet.

We harvested some to dry, too, so those little globes will be making appearances in our dried floral arrangements!

Sometimes the flower that catches your eye isn’t the biggest or showiest—it’s the one doing something a little different.

The conversations at the stand, the familiar faces returning for another u-pick, the new ones we got to meet, and the evenings spent together among the flowers.

Looking back through this seasons photos, we’re reminded of how much we love getting to share this farm with you.

With soft ivory blooms and layers of papery petals, this one brings a little softness to all the color we love growing.

Strawflowers almost feel like they’re already dried while they’re still blooming—a little preview of how we can enjoy them long after summer ends.

TWO KAYS// A little work now saves us a whole lot of waiting come spring! 🌱

If you’ve ever experienced a Montana spring, you know the weather doesn’t always cooperate with your plans.

That’s why we’re spending part of our fall clearing, tilling and preparing beds for our 2027 growing season.

Our goal? When those trays of seedlings are ready to head outside next spring, we want to be ready for them! Not waiting for the ground to dry out enough to start preparing beds.

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that isn’t particularly glamorous, but can make a huge difference when the growing season gets underway.

We’re already dreaming of what these empty rows will look like filled with flowers next summer. 🌸

THOUGHT// Next summer’s flowers begin with this autumn’s work. 🌱

We’re clearing beds, lifting bulbs and tubers, and preparing the soil so we’re ready when spring arrives. There are fewer blooms to show you, but plenty of work happening behind the scenes.

It’s our way of caring for this little farm—and making room for another season of flowers to share with you.

BLOOM// Parker’s Gold Yarrow 💛

Those golden blooms and long, sturdy stems make this one a favorite in the field—and I absolutely adore the smell. Others aren’t quite as enthusiastic about it (Mom) 😂

We also harvested some of these blooms to dry, saving a little golden color for arrangements long after the field has gone quiet.
