One of the smartest things I did during this kitchen remodel was think beyond the cabinets themselves and really consider what I wanted happening inside them.

Rev-A-Shelf has so many clever storage solutions that can take basic cabinet space and make it incredibly useful. Spices are easy to see and grab, awkward workstation sink accessories have their own dedicated spot, and my bakeware is stored vertically so I can pull out exactly what I need.

It’s the kind of functionality you don’t fully appreciate until you live with it.

If you’re remodeling, building, or simply frustrated with how your current cabinets function, look at Rev-A-Shelf’s options before assuming you need more cabinetry. Sometimes you just need to make the space you already have work a whole lot smarter. Comment KITCHEN for the links.

My goal for this kitchen was simple: make it beautiful AND make it work harder.

Some of my favorite upgrades are actually hidden behind the cabinet doors. Rev-A-Shelf gave me a way to turn ordinary cabinet space into incredibly functional storage, so the things I use every day are easy to reach without taking over my countertops.
These are the kinds of details that make a kitchen feel custom and make everyday life in it so much better.

If you’re planning a kitchen or looking for ways to make the one you have function better, Rev-A-Shelf is absolutely worth looking at before you decide what goes inside your cabinets.

For years, I spent hours assembling particleboard furniture with cheap hardware, confusing instructions, and disappointing results.

The problem wasn't that I couldn't build.

It was that I was afraid of power tools.
When I finally got brave enough to learn, I realized I'd been holding myself back. They weren't nearly as intimidating as I had imagined, and suddenly I wasn't limited to what I could buy... I could build exactly what I wanted.

This outdoor TV lift is one of those projects.

Using Kreg's Ionic Drive™ Circular Saw, Accu-Cut™ system, Pocket-Hole Jig 720PRO, and Ionic Drive™ Impact Driver, what started as a sketch is finally taking shape.

The biggest thing I built wasn't this project.

It was the confidence to believe I could.
What's one custom project you've always wanted in your home?

Builder grade kitchen. Zero designer style.

But paint, hardware, trim, and lighting can transform almost any kitchen... and after designing over 300 homes, I have some ideas you probably haven’t thought of.

This is just the beginning. I’m building a community where I teach women how to design and DIY their own homes like a pro. Comment KITCHEN and I’ll send you the details.

I wanted a bigger patio, but I didn’t want to pour more concrete or spend thousands hiring it out.

So we built it ourselves using large-format porcelain pavers, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It completely changed the way this backyard feels and finally made it feel like one cohesive outdoor living space.

The final step was locking everything together with polymeric sand. It sweeps into the joints, hardens after watering, and helps keep the pavers securely in place.

Comment SAND and I’ll send you the products I used.
