It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a REAL GOOD Jam packed garage sale and this one was great! A friend sent me a message giving me the details and I jumped in the car!
I had self control and ended up buying only 2 things. I know. Shocking. BUT BOOPIE GLASS?! Yes please. Always.

❤️Cupid must have sympathized with my cabin fever when I was lucky enough to find this pair of Italian alabaster heart bookends today! Paired with the two vintage bead necklaces I also found and the glorious sunshine, it definitely feels like a love note moment! ❤️

Currently 10° outside and snowing. Feelin the winter blues, and with chores done I decided to play around in my vintage corner of the basement pulling out a few pretties that I planned to list this Friday morning! All the colors are definitely helping combat the grey outside! Also, I want a nap.

It’s been awhile since I’ve found good art pieces! And then I found 3 in ONE day! Dark Moody florals, vibrant happy roses and a sassy rooster replica painting of Rico Blass’ Rooster!
Which one is more your vibe? I love them all, and where I usually go for the bright happy florals, this moody litho has my has my heart.

I understand the Christmas trend is naturals and neutrals, but my vintage Shiny Brite collection will always have my heart and center stage! My tree is full and I still have two boxes FULL of vintage ornaments. I’m going to need another tree. Or two! 🎄 ✨ 🎄

Sometimes the treasure hauls are small and random but quirky and magical! Todays hunt features a Brass Walter Bosse fish ashtray, cheery Christmas Knee Hugger, McKee jadeite serving bowl and an Italian marble mushroom!

What a day!

Started with celebrating our Emmy girls 11th birthday with presents and donuts 🍩 then on to Cohens basketball 🏀 tournament where they won in the last few second of the game and ended the evening with our schools masquerade fundraiser gala!

I’m not a Halloween fan, but I LOVE fall. This season has just been too busy that I haven’t done much of anything in fall decorating…let me rephrase that…I’ve done NOTHING. But I was in charge of decorating our schools Book fair this past week and decided this was the perfect opportunity to do a little fall themed crafting. Using my thrifted brass vases, sticks from the yard and old book pages as leaves, I created decor that perfectly transitioned from book fair to home! After setting it all up on our faux fireplace, one of my sons said “oh nice! You’re back to decorating for the seasons!” Apparently the kids have even noticed my lack of seasonal spirit 🤣🫠
