The textile collage workshop of your dreams...
We endeavored to find out! Nichole will be here July 17-19 to teach her mixed-media workshop, Flora & Fauna Silhouette Collage. She tailored this workshop with our shop in mind (lucky us!!) to cater to quilters, and how her embellishing techniques can be used to enhance the textile collages we already love!
Nichole is an INCREDIBLE instructor. She will take you from threading a handwork needle for the first time to crafting a beautiful, one-of-a-kind hoop like hers. Seriously: all the stitches and techniques you need, and plenty of time to play with color, texture and definition. All in 3 days. I wouldn't believe it if we hadn't experienced it. If her work intimidates you, that's a sign you should absolutely be in this workshop. Your artistic side will thank you.
We will have all the supplies available at the shop. Bring some fabric that inspires you, and basic embroidery supplies if you have them. Otherwise, come ready to play!
Mom & I will both be in this class.. Usually, we take turns but neither of us can miss Nichole. I cannot emphasize how much you will regret not joining us. Spots are limited, register ASAP!
Visiting from out of town? We recommend you stay at the Best Western Flathead Lake. It's the closest hotel to our shop, and it's really, really nice! (I know BWs can be hit or miss; this one rules.)
