The BER months have arrived & Halloween is so around the corner. Get ur Halloween decorations out & think back to your days of trick or treating....your favorite costume, favorite way to celebrate the day?
At country school we made our own masks & bobbed for apples. My mother always made the best popcorn balls as treats! And living in the country we walked to the neighbors to TorT, always ready with a trick. Share your happy Halloween memories or pics.

Thank you for your understanding as our shop was closed last Saturday. We attended the Iowa State Fair where Darwin entered 5 Dahlia blooms in the Dahlia show.
Amazingly he had one bloom that rec'd First Place, Best of Novice Class (1st time ever showing), Court of Honor AND the Iowa State Fair 2026 America 250 rosette! It is stunning! A day he will never forget!
Our daughter brought dahlias from her Chicago garden and entered as well. Was a great day with our family at the Iowa State Fair!
We Will Be Open this coming Saturday 10 am ~ 4 pm

We will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, August 22.We look forward to seeing you again and will return to our regular hours...
