What type of gift bags or baskets would you love to see? And who would you buy one for?

I’ve always loved giving people little gifts — nothing huge, just a small reminder that I appreciate them, recognize them, love them, or simply want to do something kind. So gift bags are officially something I’ll be offering through Nest & Nourish Homestead Boutique

Here’s a little one I’m putting together today for our beekeeper who helped us last night Allegheny Nesting. A simple thank‑you, a moment of kindness, and a way to say “you mattered today.”

Today I am making earrings 😊

I love how lightweight wooden earrings are and how they can match a variety of outfits. I engraved and cut out the earrings on my wood laser and then stain them.

These earrings will be for sale soon along with a few school items I have made on my laser

Today I am making and canning hot mustard. I love ham and also charcuterie spreads and hot mustard pairs well with both. I also learned you can put it in meatloaf and chili which I am excited to try.

Creating our boutique online using Square. I highly recommend square if you are a new small business owner.

I have the app on my phone, the hand held cc device as well as now a website.

It’s easy to use and everything links together 😊

We are reopening in Sept with online orders, shipping and gift basket drop offs.

Follow along as we make the transition and come up with which of our products we want to keep and which new products we want to add.

Our goal is the same- make people feel happy with our curated homestead goods 😊

Hi, I’m Jill — owner of Nest & Nourish Homestead Boutique, homestead maker, and lover of all things cozy, handmade, and joy‑filled.Creating things that make people feel happy, confident, and at home is one of my greatest joys. It’s why I opened my boutique in the first place — to share décor that brings comfort, scents that make your home feel warm, and simple body products that truly nourish your skin.

My husband and I are raising our three children here in the PA Wilds, where goats, alpacas, and a parade of pets (plus endless outdoor adventures) keep life lively and full. With our goats’ milk, I craft small‑batch soaps; with rendered beef fat, I make whipped tallows — simple, consistent body products made with ingredients you can trust. I also create candles, wooden jewelry, simmer pot scents, and whatever seasonal inspiration nudges me toward the next handmade good.

When I’m not playing with my kids or making something by hand, you’ll find me restoring our 1906 home — one moody, cottage‑style room at a time.

Nest & Nourish Homestead Boutique is now closed, and my heart is full thinking about everyone who supported this little boutique.

In this season of life—with young kids, animals, moving homes and a homestead that keeps us beautifully busy—it simply feels right to step back from having a storefront that requires a lot to run.

I’ll still be making the things I love from our homestead Allegheny Nesting, and you’ll be able to find them & our clothing essentials line at Calypso & Company , the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center, and at farmers markets.

Custom wooden order and website orders will start with in the fall when my kiddos head back to school 😍

Thank you for supporting our homestead in every way—whether you’ve visited an alpaca pasture, stopped by a farm stand, browsed a market, shopped the boutique, read my weekly newspaper articles, or simply followed along on social media. Your kindness has meant more than you know. 😊

We’re open today 9am–2pm and the shop is stocked with so many beautiful things.
Not only do we carry our own homestead‑made products — we also feature small‑batch items from makers.

It’s a cozy mix of handmade goods, thoughtful gifts, and one‑of‑a‑kind finds.
