This toy box blanket came together really nicely. Sending it as a lap blanket for a friend about to start chemotherapy. He happens to like dark green - voila! Toy Box blanket pattern by Mikey & Crochet Crowd. Octopus Snuggles by Debbie Richardson, I think.

Successfully completed and gifted a set for Josh & Ashley's baby Sophia before birth. One success in my quest to show up for the people in my life. Josh was thrilled with the colors and how well they match the pinks, browns, and greys of the nursery. It feels so good to see and feel the excitement in real time. I worked hard to complete everything, and also made decisions about whether or not extra rounds of trim were necessary. I'm not a fast crocheter, so it made a difference in getting it all done on what might be the last night Josh would be working.

The Nice Lady Who Knits made a Sassenach cowl. Got an assist from Michael Krueger, who ordered me the 25.00 mm knitting needles required to replicate what I saw on Outlander. Ravelry also helped me nail it after a couple false starts; there's a link below to the Kristen Brooks pattern I used. Sometimes it's fun to revisit an old skill to try something new.
