If you haven't purchased your warm season plants or if you're looking to add more plants to your garden, we have several varieties in stock including a couple of new tomato varieties that are heat and disease resistant (see descriptions below) and lots of bell peppers.
We also have some cannas in stock if you want to add a bit of a tropic feel to your garden.
๐
- Florida 91 is a determinate tomato developed by the University of Florida for hot, humid growing conditions. It produces smooth, firm, globe-shaped red fruit typically weighing 10 ounces, with good shelf life and solid disease resistance. Its standout trait is heat tolerance โ it's bred to set fruit reliably even when evening temperatures stay high, a condition that causes popular varieties like Celebrity and Better Boy to drop blossoms or fail to set. It also carries resistance to Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2 and Verticillium wilt, making it a dependable addition to your garden when summer heat is working against you.

- Carbon is an indeterminate tomato that delivers the rich, complex flavor of an heirloom with the dependability and disease resistance of a hybrid. It produces deep red-brown fruit typically weighing 10โ16 ounces, with meaty, low-acid flesh that makes it a favorite among serious home gardeners and market growers alike. Carbon resists cracking and blemishing better than most true heirlooms, and its tolerance for common tomato diseases means fewer disappointments at harvest. If you want that old-fashioned tomato taste without the fussiness, Carbon is a compelling choice.
Please note - we are planning on closing the office at noon on Friday, May 29th for a staff event.
