White BBQ sauce looks wrong.

Then you put it on smoked chicken and suddenly Alabama starts making a whole lot of sense.

We seasoned this chicken with Rub Yer Meat, smoked it at 300°F, then finished it with a creamy, tangy, peppery Alabama white sauce.

Save this one for the sauce recipe:

Alabama White Sauce
• 3 cups mayonnaise
• 1 1/4 cups apple c***r vinegar
• 3 tbsp prepared horseradish
• 3 tbsp brown sugar
• 2 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 2 1/2 tsp cayenne
• 2 tsp black pepper
• Kosher salt to taste

Mix everything together until smooth, then refrigerate until you’re ready to give your chicken a proper rub-down and dunk.
