Tomorrow is the grand opening at The Painted Tree! Highland House Made is growing! Jim and I have expended our Etsy shop to our first booth - we are now a chain!! Some hard work and lots of learning over the past 3 weeks during the stores soft opening. If you have never been to a Painted Tree location it’s like walking through Etsy - think of it as a mini Holiday Mart. Approximately 100 vendors selling everything from tshirts, houseware, gifts, even food items. Stop by and see us at booth C15!

With the sweetest little faces in matching smiles! Baby Gianna and Baby Saul celebrated five months this week with our personalized wooden rounds and custom month markers from Highland House Made. We can’t wait to see how these little ones will grow!

We’ve made the move to social media! 🎉

Hello and welcome to the Official Facebook for our small business, Highland House Made! We are expanding our Etsy website to start offering more exclusive products to our local friends, and are so excited to share our journey!

🏠 Who We Are:
We are Jim & Maria, a married couple operating out of our home in Kansas City, Missouri! Jim is a newly-retired KC fire department captain, and Maria has just made the move to part-time nursing as our business expands. Our home on Highland Terrace has always been a hub of creativity, and we’ve always been a family that showed love through homemade gifts. After years of hearing “you should sell that!”, we made the leap!

🛠 What We Make:
We strive for only the best in the products we sell - from original designs, handcut wood, and an eye for the perfect detail, we only send the best to our customers! Customized cutting boards, bachelorette charcuterie sets, door signs, hangers, we can do it all!
