Thank you so much to Lauritzen Gardens Antiques & Design Show and Lauritzen Gardens for asking me to lead your Sunday Designer’s Walk. Antiques hold such a dear spot in my heart and it was pure joy to speak to the vendors and learn about the journey each piece took to get here today. I would gladly lead the designer walk every year because I enjoyed it so much 😊

Thank you Kate Knowles for hosting me at your table for the Sunday luncheon where I was able to listen to the poetry spoken by McALPINE and RAY BOOTH DESIGN Bobby’s book “Poetry of Place” is one I reach for often in my library when I’m referencing books for my client projects. I’m so thankful I was able to hear what these two talented gentlemen had to say. I was taking notes in my notes app. Typing as fast as I could!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting the Lauritzen Gardens please make a trip to do so and mark your calendars for next year’s Antique and Design Show in September 2027. 🌱

Austin is one of those cities that leaves me inspired long after I’ve unpacked my suitcase. Every trip blends family, work, and a little adventure. Over the years I’ve collected a list of favorite hotels, showrooms, restaurants, and hidden gems that I return to every time I’m in town. My aunt was heading to an event in Austin and before she went, she asked for my hotel and restaurant recommendations. And she isn’t the first to ask. I finally put all my favorites in one place to share with everyone! If you’re planning a trip or simply looking for a little design inspiration check out my full Austin City Guide on Substack through the link in my bio.

It’s wild to me that people will say, “I’m so proud of you,” but never engage with a single post.
But for a small business, one like, one comment, one share, could mean the world of difference 🙏

A basement should never feel like an afterthought. From the very beginning, we wanted this level to feel just as warm and inviting and lived-in as the rest of the home. It starts with a linen-filled gathering room designed for slow mornings, game nights, and conversations that make you want to linger a little longer. Soft arches gently draw you into the kitchen, where timeless materials and warm textures make the space feel like it’s anything but below ground. Then there’s the w**e grotto, vaulted ceilings, layered lighting, and a sense of being tucked away without ever feeling dark. Every space flows effortlessly into the next, ending in a movie theater made for family time. Turns out everyone’s favorite room in the house was in the basement after all.

Every extraordinary home has a language of its own. And here, that language is spoken through graceful arches, organic materials, and a palette drawn from the Nebraska landscape just outside the window 🪟
Curved forms repeat throughout the home, creating continuity, while natural stone, artisan craftsmanship, and layered textures bring warmth and permanence to every room. Designed to feel as enduring as the landscape that inspired it 🤎

Our calendar is thoughtfully curated to ensure every project receives exceptional attention. If you’re ready to create a timeless residential or commercial space, visit the link in our bio and complete our new client intake form to inquire about availability.
