Important update. The algorithm is working against us. Even after a rebrand it became clear they were not sharing our stuff so we’re starting a new channel. Stay tuned… we expect to launch in about a week and will be going in a whole new direction. Watching us do chores and try to tell stories is tired and we have a better focus for the new channel.

3 EDC Compliments worth considering: Victorinox 580 nail care multitool: I lost my blue Victorinox 580 that I’ve carried...

3 EDC Compliments worth considering:

Victorinox 580 nail care multitool:
I lost my blue Victorinox 580 that I’ve carried daily for 3 years so figured it was time for another one. Went with the camo version this time because camo is cool and put a box knot paracord lanyard on it. I really like the 580. I get almost daily use out of it so its part of my EDC. Its now as essential to me as a flashlight and an orange bic. I have the Nail Clipper SS’s as well but it fatigues my hands too much because of its size when I have to use it, especially on my toes, and it doesn’t have the obvious extra uses that the 580 does.

Side note, did you know the toothpick on any Victorinox makes a fantastic draw enhancer and the tweezers make a decent nubber in a pinch?

Streamlight Microstream rechargeable:
I wrap a bunch of gaffers tape around the barrel body so I can hold it with my teeth or give me more purchase between my middle and ring finger while depressing the tail cap with my thumb. The concept, in practical use, is likened to the Haley Strategic/Surefire D3FT Combat flashlight… but with better throw, more common battery use, rechargeability, less bulk and it isn’t $170. Its perfect for close up search tasks like when looking under a desk, searching a chicken coop for eggs in weird places or any other close range task lighting, etc.

Wurkkos TD07 1300 high lumen, momentary on, waterproof flashlight:
This thing is a high lumen spot/search light for outer space or coyotes and eye shining critters in the pitch black dark at 300 yards… but it fits in the palm of your hand. Its also rechargeable with the 18350 battery it comes with or you can put in a CR123. When I need to check on the sheep in the back paddock, find the dogs in the dark or see where that coyote/skunk/raccoon/possum is that’s terrorizing my chickens without being able to get close enough to hit them with a stick… this light right now is my go to. Caution… don’t point it at yourself or ANY light colored wall you are standing next to and turn it on. Its like trying to look at the sun and will burn your eyes.
