As a kid growing up I was raised on an army base, I remember going home to visit my grandparents. My grandpa was a horse trader and took me to the auctions. I can still smell all the rich and enticing aromas of the leather saddles and chaps. The way you could close your eyes and let your fingers caress the hand cut and hand tooled designs.
