Hello!
It's Bloomerang Gives Back time!
This week, you get two for the price of one!
This week's recipients are Kristin Beal and, old friend, Tom Mittlestadt !
Both were nominated by Lynette Dyson Murphy , and this is what she had to say:
"Hello. I have a nomination for Bloomerang Gives Back. Kristin Beal is the co-founder and executive director at Harvester Arts. The life of a nonprofit executive is very unglamorous and stressful. Recently Harvester Arts has taken on a new duty by assisting the Tallgrass Film Association with some contracted administrative duties as we rebuild. I serve as the secretary of the board of directors of the Tallgrass Film Association and have worked closely with Kristin to create new processes and governing policies. She has been an outstanding partner in this new pursuit. I would love to see her day brightened with one of your gorgeous bouquets."
......
"What can you say about Tom Mittlestadt? Everybody who has worked with him says the same thing … he never gets rattled and knows how to get resources better than anyone! He is well connected and can be counted on to complete even the smallest detail. He never wants credit for anything, but he is the consistent thread the Tallgrass Film Association is counting on right now! He was recently promoted to managing director for that very reason."
Both are just lovely!
Well deserved!
I'm also including some links to showings for the Tallgrass Film Festival as well as volunteer info!
Please check out the Tallgrass Film Festival. It is truly a Wichita original, nationally recognized, and a definite feather in our caps
