I painted a custom little rocking chair for a Christmas present. I love the greens from Dixie Belle- Kudzu, Mint Julep, and Palmetto. We made a cute little cushion for it out of Pendelton fabric thanks to the handiest seamstress and leather tooler i know- Teri Elves.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted my projects- life has been busy!
I did a custom upholstery job for a dear friend- Eva Hepper- despite my reservations (this was a big project).
To complete the task- I enlisted the assistance of my other fantastic friend - Teri Mitchell who is one handy fabric stretching, sewing, and detail orientated machine! Well after many consuming hours, we finally finished the job! 2 custom Pendelton wing backed chairs hot off the tack hammer! They feature leather cushions for durability and should withstand a lifetime of actual use! I used Dixie Belle paint as usual to give it a fun splash of turquoise and coffee bean.
I hope the Hepper family loves the transformation!

I was asked to make 2 giant buckle boxes for the very talented Wagoner kids- holy smokes do they have some belt buckles!! The one is 6 ft and the other is 5 ft tall! I have revamped my boxes with new shelving over the past year with an improved ledge where buckles can no longer slip off no matter how hard you slam or rough house the case! These beauties filled up fast and are such a great display.

It’s been pretty quiet around my garage with the woodworking and painting for awhile now- we are fortunate enough to be building a new house on the “River Ranch” so house projects have kept me busy! I am squeezing in a few delayed custom orders I have had in the books since Christmas. Here’s a custom serving tray to add a little beauty and organization to a kitchen island! It was fun and turned out beautifully!
