We’ve been working on this Jewelry Case for a while. Got the final coat of finish sprayed yesterday and today was assembly day! There will be glass on the three open sides. This is going to an art gallery in Santa Fe. As fun as it has been, I will be happy to see it on its way.

A bathroom we recently finished. This started out as a small second-floor bedroom. We tore everything out, right down to the studs and joists, and stared fresh - replaced or reinforced the framing where needed (making it plumb, level, and flat), new insulation, exhaust fan, lighting, etc.

This project is a great example of what Spykman Design does - working with the customer to design and create a space that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.

We recently completed this cabinetry project in Keene, NH. This was custom designed and built for a second floor bedroom. The house dates to the 1790's, and like most old houses, it has no closets. These cabinets provide space for hanging clothes, plus open bookshelves with enclosed storage below.

We just finished this project this afternoon. The client wanted to turn their basement into a pleasant, functional living space, including a new half-bath. More pics to come.

Just completed. A total re-build of the street-facing facade of this 200-year-old house in Keene, NH. We stripped the front of the house down to the sheathing boards, replacing whatever was compromised and reinforcing whatever was still good (air-sealing all of the gaps with foam). All new siding, window trim, and whatever else was too far gone, replicating the original work precisely. The pediment over the door is the only new element, but we worked hard to make sure it fit with the original architecture of the house. The slate and lead roof by Gideon Spykman is stunning!
