Redeemed Decor (AKA “The Sisters”) have some important news to share.
As many of you may have heard, on Tuesday, April 14, Painted Tree Marketplace—the place our business has called home for the past 8 years—filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. As a result, all 60+ locations across the country have closed their doors. This means Redeemed Decor no longer has a home. All vendors were notified Tuesday morning via email and given immediate instructions to clear out our space. Though we are in shock, we are choosing to trust that God is still writing our story. He is our provider, our guide, and the One who goes before us—even in moments like this.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
We are incredibly grateful for each of you who have supported us, prayed for us, and encouraged us throughout the years. Your love has meant more than we could ever express. From the beginning, our desire has been to use this small business as a reflection of His goodness—to share His love in all that we do. We’ve had the honor of praying with many of you, lifting up your requests written in our journal, and walking alongside you in both joyful and difficult moments. Creating handmade pieces and restoring what was once cast aside has always been close to our hearts—a reflection of how He restores and makes all things new.
These past few months have been challenging for many in the small business community, and we have felt that alongside so many others. At our location, we made it a practice to walk the aisles and pray over each business, believing fully that God is the true source and provider. As we packed up our booth, we took one final walk through those aisles—praying over each business owner as they hurried to gather their inventory. We prayed for peace, for direction, and for the Lord to lead them into what’s next. We prayed for increase—not just in business, but in impact—for His Kingdom and His glory.
As for us, we are taking this time to seek the Lord and discern what He has next for Redeemed Decor. We trust Him completely and believe He will make a way, just as He always has.
This is not the end—just the beginning of a new chapter. When God closes one chapter, He is still holding the pen. We trust Him to write what comes next.
