This is an old top that was pieced by my MIL’s grandmother, probably in the 60’s. It was never quilted and had been quite abused. The Kempner Quilt Collective had many a discussion about how to preserve it and this is the result. 3 new borders and backing with a close quilt pattern and VIOLA, beautiful!!!

There are two, almost identical! Love the way the Collective thinks together! Love my tribe!!!

Began Tucker University on Saturday in the first of 12 classes with 12 students. The class was full before it could be posted! Perfect blocks were accomplished!! We forgot to take pictures! If interested, ongoing, let us know!!
