Karl Pass loves birds. He will have these at the Kempton Show. The redware coin bank, ca. 1860, possibly Neiffer family is in the form of a rooster and fresh to the market. The blue and red fabric bird is an early example and ex. Jan Whitlock, purchased from an advanced private collection. The printed cotton fabric early large bird is ex. Art and Alice Booth and an extremely fine example. Who says you can't find high quality Pennsylvania folk art at a small show? Kempton is the best one-day antiques show in the state. Come visit the Kempton Community Center on Sat. Oct. 17. Karl Pass is the president of the Antique Dealers Association of Berks County (ADABC) a non-profit group that runs the event.
