A Word About Our
Loyalty Rewards Program
We have tried to maintain some version of our Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) this year in very adversarial economic conditions. We want to survive as a business and keep bringing you the joy and convenience of "finding at Accents". In our effort to combat the financial mayhem created by tariffs, Square surcharges for tracking customer loyalty activity, fuel surcharges, new paid sick leave requirements for Alaska small business employers, and the ever-rising costs of freight forwarding to the state of Alaska, we have decided to put our promotional emphasis on bringing you more frequent ways to save, like our scratchers, grab bags, clearance room, "last-ofs" apparel rack, and store BOGO's rather than our former LRP model.
This year, it has been very challenging to carve out a business-sustaining profit margin. Still, Alicia frequently reduces her markup below the industry norm and MSRP to try to keep ever-rising prices at bay and give our patrons some relief and levity.
We know news of the LRP ending will disappoint some, but the more widely applied, fun-loving nature of our frequent promotions and "ways to save" will also bring joy to all. We want you to come in, take a break, have FUN, and leave excited to gift, dress, and decorate. These are some of life's simple pleasures, but their impact can be profound in a world plagued by so many unresolvable challenges.
We are so excited to "Holiday" with you again this year!
Peace to you and your household, and many thanks for your patronage and for sharing life and love with all of us here at the shop. You bring us so much joy all year long.
Sincerely,
Alicia on behalf of the Accent's team
