🧶✨ Hello Crafty Friends! ✨🧶

As many of you know, renovations are underway at Crafter's Boutique as we create a beautiful new crafting space complete with a cozy Yarn Lounge where makers can gather, stitch, create, and connect.

As I look ahead to fall and winter, I'm busy putting together a catalog of classes, workshops, social events, and creative gatherings—and I'd love your input!

Over the next several weeks, I'll be posting a series of questions to learn what YOU would like to see offered at the shop. Whether it's knitting, crochet, beginner classes, advanced techniques, open craft nights, or something completely different, I want to hear from you!

🎉 As a thank you, everyone who participates by responding in the comments will receive a special discount code to use in the store.

You help me create the classes and events you want, and I'll help you save a little on your next crafty adventure. Sounds like a win-win! 😊

First question.... to all the knitters out there, what kind of knitting classes/events would you like to see in the new space?? Comment below 👇

❤️ Thank you for being such an amazing part of the Crafter's Boutique community.

Good morning crafty friends 😊

So now that I’ve shared my BIG news!! Eeekk so excited 🥳

I want to share the space I’ve proudly named “the dirty little secret” backroom of my beautiful shop 😆 this space has been kind of like the junk drawer or closet you throw everything you don’t know what to do with.

Don’t lie, you know you have one or two or maybe even three! 😂

This space is going to be transformed into a beautiful cozy and creative space that I can’t wait to share with my favorite community!!

Picture this…

🩷A super cozy yarn lounge area for sitting and doing your favorite fiber craft with your fiber friends💚A cute and welcoming space to gather to make a wreath or do some macrame.
💛A kid friendly space to host a crafting birthday party or a gals day out event.
💖I don’t want to forget the coffee bar and snack station that will also be available.

I can’t say enough thank you’s to American Express & Main Street America for choosing me as a recipient of the Amex Shop Small Grant!

Please enjoy the before video!

I am beyond excited to share that Crafter’s Boutique has been selected as a recipient of the Amex Shop Small Grants Program, thanks to American Express and Main Street America!

This grant is so much more than funding — it’s an investment in our future and in the community we love serving every day.

With this support, we’ll be renovating the back space of the shop to create a welcoming crafting and gathering space for our community. We’re dreaming big for this area, including:
🎨 Crafting classes
🧶 “Stitching Hour” events
🎉 Children’s crafting birthday parties
💐 Ladies Day Out events
✨ And so much more!

As a small business, every decision matters, and this opportunity allows us to continue growing, innovating, and creating meaningful experiences for our customers and community.

I am incredibly proud to be part of this initiative and honored to join more than 500 small businesses across the country that are being empowered to keep moving forward through programs like this.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Crafter’s Boutique — we can’t wait to bring this new space to life for all of you!

It’s a beautiful day to enjoy the festival! Don’t forget to stop by and see me to get your fairy name 🧚🧌

’Twas the night before Fairy Festival, all through downtown square,
In Kendallville, excitement danced everywhere.
The tents were being raised along Main Street with care,
For fairies and dragons soon all would be there.

At Crafter's Boutique, LLC, the ribbons were tied,
With glittering flowers displayed side by side.
The gnomes carried trinkets and tiny wood charms,
While trolls hauled big boxes with strong, sturdy arms.

At Whatchamacakes, the frosting piled high,
On cupcakes with dragon wings reaching the sky.
The bakers stayed busy preparing sweet treats,
While sugary scents drifted out to the streets.

The cooks at Jen’s Bistro worked late through the night,
Making soups and warm sandwiches just perfectly right.
As visitors wandered and peeked through the glass,
They whispered, “Tomorrow must come fast!”

At BettyLou Designs & Graphics, bright treasures were set,
With fairy-like trinkets folks wouldn’t forget.
The shelves were all sparkling with magical flair,
As excitement kept building throughout the whole square.

At Inkwell Tattoo, bold dragons were drawn,
With scales made of emeralds and fire at dawn.
The artists sketched trolls and fierce creatures with wings,
And fairies with crowns made of vines and bright rings.

The windows of Arkham City Oddities glowed eerie and bright,
Filled with strange wonders and creatures of night.
There were potion-like bottles and curious bones,
And tiny stone dragons beside crystal stones.

At Love Me Two Times on Main, music played low,
While fairy dresses and costumes were set all in rows.
The children pressed close with excitement and cheer,
Counting the hours till Festival here.

At Carla's 5 Bucks Antiques & Such, old treasures were stacked,
With dragon egg lanterns all carefully packed.
The gnomes searched for teacups and shiny old things,
While trolls tried on helmets and oversized rings.

At On The Main Boutique & Gifts, LLC, the outfits were neat,
With sparkling green capes and winged shoes for small feet.
The fairies admired each glittering gown,
While dragon plush creatures were passed all around.

And down at ATA Excellence Martial Arts, the students trained strong,
Practicing kicks all the evening long.
“Tomorrow!” they shouted with proud grins so wide,
Ready for festival fun and their downtown pride.

As darkness arrived over Kendallville town,
The workers still bustled while sun settled down.
For tomorrow would bring magic, laughter, and cheer,
At the Fairy, Gnome, and Troll Festival here.

And all through downtown, you could happily hear:

“The Fairy, Gnome, and Troll Festival finally is here!”
