We are just two sisters and a mom who decided to open a little store that we would love to get lost in. And we hope you enjoy our store as much as we do. We are so fortunate that our family has been so supportive while we try this new venture. Together, we love to refinish furniture, paint furniture, artsy paint furniture or items, decorate, and we would love to share our treasures with you. You w

ill also be surprised by the working train layout that Tyler shared with our store, being that Kenly is a train town. Kids, young and old, will love to experience the train that mimics the train that traveled through Kenly. We, Lynne and Leigh, loved exploring our grandmother's and mother's attics, as children, and were always intrigued by the treasures we found. Therefore, we named the store Barbara's Attic after Mom, Barbara. So, if you are looking for antiques, unique gifts, hand-painted items, flowers, or just something to spice up a room, please visit our little hidden treasure store.

Barbara’s Attic (113 W 2nd St, Kenly NC) is having a final “Going Out Of Business” auction on Saturday, April 2. All item, gifts, collectibles, antiques (including furniture), etc must go. It starts at 10:00am; however, we are allowing anyone to come from 9:00am-10:00am for previewing the store for items you might be interested in for marking. All are invited and we look forward to seeing you. Thank you so much for your support and the wonderful friendships that we have made through Barbara’s Attic. We are blessed.

We are so excited to be opening Barbara's Attic this weekend. It has been way too long and we have missed our friends. Please come visit. Hours will be Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-1. Look forward to seeing you......please see our new pics

We are so sad that we have not been able to open our store during this holiday season, and we are missing our Barbara's Attic friends terribly. Hopefully it will not be too much longer before we are back open and have recovered from the storm. However, we wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Please remember to thank our Lord and Savior for the so many blessings he has allowed.

We are sorry to say that Barbara's Attic will be closed again this weekend due to storm damage. A lot of work to be done, but we are very fortunate. Please continue to pray for all the flood victims who were not so fortunate and are still working to get their lives back together. We hope to see you soon. Hoping it will not be too long as we are excited to share our Christmas room.
