Another year in the wild. 🦁🌿

For the third year, BLS was proud to lead the full production for Woodland Park Zoo’s Jungle Party, bringing together lighting, audio, video, staging, and a 20+ person crew to transform the Zoo for one of Seattle’s biggest fundraising nights.

This year’s Jungle Party raised over $3 million, far surpassing its $2.4 million goal and supporting Woodland Park Zoo’s mission and conservation work well into the future.

These are the projects we love: complex spaces, big ideas, a lot of moving pieces, and a team that knows how to bring it all together.

A huge thank you to Woodland Park Zoo for trusting BLS for three years running, and to our incredible crew and industry partners who helped make it all happen.

BLS has officially been named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Washington. 🚀

Seven years ago, BLS started with some gear, big ideas, and absolutely no concept of how much warehouse space we’d eventually need.

Today, we’re a full-service audiovisual partner producing hundreds of events, designing and installing theatrical systems, fabricating custom drapery, repairing equipment, and even running a retail store — and still finding time to ask, “what if we tried this?”

We don’t find out where we rank until October, but making the list is already something worth celebrating.

WE MADE THE LIST. 🥳

None of this growth happens without the incredible team behind BLS and the clients, partners, and friends who continue to trust us with ambitious projects.

Another Bellevue Arts Fair in the books. 🎨

BLS was back again this year as the fair’s technical production partner.

Across the event, our team provided staging, audio, lighting, and drape—from supporting live bands and performances to event-wide systems that helped create a safe and welcoming experience for guests.

It takes a lot behind the scenes to bring a festival like this to life, and we’re proud to bring so many of those technical pieces together under one team.

Always great to be part of this Bellevue tradition—and to do it right in our own backyard.

Summer is our riggers’ busiest season!

Our crews are hard at work renovating theaters and installing permanent rigging systems that help keep performance spaces safe, reliable, and ready for years of performances.

From structural modifications and custom fabrication to permanent rigging installation, every project is engineered to meet the unique needs of each venue. It’s the work most audiences never see—but every performance depends on it.

We’re proud to partner with schools, universities, performing arts centers, casinos, hotels, and theaters to build and maintain the infrastructure that supports live entertainment.

We were proud to partner with to engineer and install the truss structure supporting Andy Arkley's Into the Magic Land.

Large-scale public art doesn't just require creativity—it requires thoughtful engineering, precise rigging, and a team that understands how to safely bring ambitious ideas to life.

Seeing the process is one of our favorite parts. Every connection, measurement, and lift contributes to the finished experience.

Featured in Lighting & Sound America 🎭

Kirkland Performance Center’s transformation is a great example of what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to community.

BLS was proud to serve as the systems integrator for this project, delivering rigging, stage systems, lighting and controls, custom drapery, and infrastructure upgrades that help support the venue’s next chapter.

Highlights include:
• The Seattle region’s first ETC Prodigy motorized rigging installation
• North America’s first Harlequin Liberty Switch stage system
• New lighting, control, and stage infrastructure designed to support a wide range of performances and community events
