A longtime Realtor customer in Florida reached out to me recently. We ended up going a completely different direction with her new order, but it reminded me of some signs I used to make for her!

Sometimes the best custom projects don't end up looking anything like where they started.

A customer originally wanted me to engrave directly onto a beautiful leather briefcase. After testing, I wasn't happy with the results. Rather than risk permanently marking an expensive bag with something I couldn't stand behind, I changed direction.

This morning I received this message, and it reminded me why I never settle for "good enough."

Sometimes the best part of a custom order isn't sticking to the original plan—it's finding the right solution. ❤️
