We are so excited to officially introduce the new Mavi Condo! We have been sharing the progress of this transformation since January, from the initial walkthrough video during the demo phase to the kitchen cabinet installation and the countertop reveal. It has been wonderful to watch every detail fall into place to bring the final vision to life.
This project shows how age in place design can be both functional and elegant. By focusing on smart adjustments rather than a full ADA layout, the condo feels warm, open, and tailored for the future. Removing the original entry wall allowed natural light to flood the entire space, while wide walkways, low pile carpets, a drawer microwave, and rollout pantry trays keep everyday movement seamless.
The design relies on deep, rich colors in the flooring and cabinetry to complement the client's collection of antique furniture and artwork. In the kitchen, a raised bar keeps prep work out of view, so the focus stays entirely on conversation, connection, and entertaining. The absolute highlight of the kitchen is the hood vent, a stunning statement piece designed to complement the warm bronze tones carried throughout the rest of the condo.
