Memorial Day in Kernville carries a little extra meaning. Small towns like ours remember the names, the families, the flags lining the roads, and the sacrifices that made gatherings like this weekend possible.

Today we honor the men and women who gave everything in service to this country. From all of us, thank you to those who served, those we lost, and the families who carry their memory forward.
