Well, I’m happy to say that after a long season off, and a somewhat frustrating but never boring spring, we are beginning to get some blooms.

I currently have several shades of delphinium available. Also blooming is the heavenly-scented old fashioned stock.
Veronica is beginning to bloom, and so are bronze snapdragons and yarrow.

Wholesale orders are welcome, or, let me know if you would like to order a jar bouquet - perfect for your kitchen table or your desk at work!

I’m curious, would anyone be interested in some of my cut flower plugs? If I get enough interest, I’d be happy to pot some up for you. I can make a list with prices.

Please understand, some of these will be much smaller than the six pack plants that you purchase at the nurseries. But that’s ok, they’re just the right size to take off!

Also, what are you interested in? I usually direct sow quite a few things right into the soil, but if you’re looking for example, for cut flower zinnias, then let’s talk.

Turn the volume up so you can hear the baby chicks peeping inside their eggs. I imagine we will have some hatched by morning. This never gets old. ;)

So. Many. Seeds. And boy, oh boy, will it be worth it. What are you doing this weekend to get ready for spring?!

Meet Sugar Plum foxglove. She won’t flower this year, but I haven’t had any luck planting her in the fall. So when she blooms next year, you can say you remember her when she was thiiiiiiis big. 🤪. Did that sound like a crazy plant lady talking?!

Pic of her blooms is in the comments.

2026 Planting season has begun! …and the frost cloth is at the ready! Have you looked at the trees lately? The maple tree buds are opening at our house. Spring is coming!

I spent the weekend planting seeds (and shopping for a new laptop-ugh.) We can’t wait for spring blooms! Here’s to a successful 2026 season!

I found a piece of my heart sitting on my desk just now.
My mom jotted down this note before she passed in 1992, but I didn't "find" it until this morning. It reads: "In the garden, you’ll never walk alone."
In the Bible, the garden is a place of beginning, of presence, and of peace. Today, it felt like mom was sending us a sign. Every seed I press into the earth is a reminder that growing flowers isn't just a business—it’s creating a sanctuary.
This farm has been a sanctuary to my husband’s family since 1852, and I hope that when you visit us or buy our bouquets this summer, you feel that same peace and presence. You are never walking alone.
If you’re reading this, don't be afraid to share with us: Have you ever found a sign exactly when you needed it?
