Behind every beautiful event is a team of talented people who bring the vision to life. Today, we’re introducing you to Anthony, co-owner and floral designer at Milan Event!

For Anthony, flowers are more than just a design element. They’re where his passion began. From romantic bouquets to breathtaking floral installations, he loves how flowers can completely transform a space and create something truly magical.

His favorite moment? Delivering a bride her bouquet and seeing her reaction for the very first time. It’s those little moments of happiness that make all the hard work worthwhile.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Anthony’s creative journey goes back years. In fact, he and Peter have been working together since their days in NYC! Their longstanding partnership is part of the history, heart, and creativity behind Milan Event.

His signature style? Elegant. Romantic. Timeless.

When he’s not creating beautiful events alongside his family and the Milan team, you’ll likely find Anthony spending time with family, playing softball, enjoying a game of dominoes, or cheering on his favorite baseball team!

CELEBRITY INSPIRATION | Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco

Old-world romance meets modern, eclectic elegance.

From the dreamy, draped ceremony and delicate white florals to the rich velvet lounges, layered textures, vintage-inspired furnishings, and warm autumnal tones, Selena and Benny’s wedding was a beautiful study in contrasts.

What we love most is how the design created two distinct experiences: soft, romantic, and timeless for the ceremony, followed by a reception that felt intimate, inviting, and full of personality.

Every great story has a beginning, and Milan’s begins with Peter.

As the founder and former owner of Milan Event, Peter helped build the foundation of the company and its passion for thoughtful design and memorable celebrations.

Today, Peter continues to be an important part of the Milan team, working with clients through sales and collaborating on event design to bring their visions to life.

His favorite part of the process? Seeing the big picture come together. From linens and glassware to the smallest finishing touches, Peter loves discovering how each detail contributes to the overall experience.

His design style leans contemporary European, with an appreciation for clean lines, sophisticated details, and timeless elegance.

And his favorite place to find inspiration? Venice, Italy, where he enjoys art, architecture, and a little people-watching.
