This is one of the projects I've been working on, a knitted throw, with a crocheted edge, using Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. It's a chenille type yarn, very soft, plush, and warm. This one is finished.

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't posted much of anything lately. Unfortunately , I've had some issues with arthritis in my hands, and have had to give them a good long rest. But, I'm happy to say, I'll be good as new and back to crocheting and crafting after New Year. :-)

Another "craft" I've been occupied with lately is nature photography. This sort of runs in our family. My mother and father-in-law were professional photographers, as is our youngest son. Hubs enjoys photography and belongs to a camera club in Osaka that takes regular outings. I'm no pro, but I do enjoy it. These are a few of my recent photos .

Although I've still been crocheting, I've been delving in a few other arts and crafts lately as well. These are my first pieces of Mixed Media art, mostly using "found" items. I've also started an Art Journal, and have been making my own journal rather than buying a ready made one. I recently acquired a sewing machine, so I'll be crafting with that as well.
