It’s been a super hot day… and a super day to get yourself some ice cream at our very own Frosty King! Of course, the real stuff is better than these giant ones I’m making for decor there… but these are fun! It has not been easy, but I think I’m getting them to look alright. A bit lopsided, but when it’s this hot ice cream melts fast, right? 🤷🏼‍♀️😉🤭 I’m going to add sprinkles & other details to the strawberry dish. Do you like the twist cone? Does it look somewhat real? I am my own worst critic so idk…

Once again my left hand man Adley has been helping me on a project I am winging… new giant ice creams for Frosty! These babies are gonna be HEAVY and I’m hoping super strong and indestructible as every summer I have remade them since people’s curiosity gets the best of them… 🥴 I’m not afraid to tackle pretty much any cool project, and I am thankful I have someone who is way stronger than me and also has some concrete experience. 💪🏼 Although he typically does structural concrete not “cute” stuff. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He, as usual, is a bit perplexed by my ideas… pool noodles, tape, and kabob sticks for starters… 😳🤯🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ve been cleaning things out and reorganizing at home and The Studio. Trueyn and I brought my tea party stash up to The Studio (now that I have more room for storage up here)… I’ve been wanting to host another Grandma & Me Craft & Tea since I held the first one! We had SO much fun eating, crafting, playing bingo and just being fancy together! 🩷 I’m going to look for a date or 2 to host another tea party! I have shown a lot of what my oldest son does in regards to building and such. This is Gavin. #3 in the lineup of the Reindl 8. He prefers welding and farming over building… he welded this little stove thing (it has a name but I can’t remember it 😬) in shop class. You can actually put the grates on and cook on it with a cast iron skillet! But we used it for s’mores last night just to try it out. It worked great! He always has big ideas and dreams… I love when they come together for him! ❤️

Well, today is the day. Graduation for this big lug! 😉🥰 One of the ways I love is by creating… Adley has been “whatever” and “I don’t care” and “it’s fine mom” and “you don’t have to do that” through all the graduation prep… and I know he is right, but I truly do LOVE creating for others and making this space about him (and Tay 2yrs ago) brings me so much joy! I want my kids to look at the space and think/feel “wow, mom loves me this much…” 💚 Happy graduation Adley- I am beyond proud of you and can never thank you enough for all the help over ALL the years! Go be great! 🥰
