A little behind the scenes of a project we’ve been working on! We love getting involved early in the process, working through the details, and helping turn a beautiful house into a home that’s personal to the people who live there. Excited to see this one come together! 🤍

Put me in a room full of fabric and suddenly I have 47 ideas. 😂

But knowing which one is your idea? That’s the job.

Good design isn’t about making your home look like mine. It’s about figuring out what you love, editing through a million possibilities, and pulling it all together in a way you may not have been able to see quite yet.

I love the hunt. The pattern, the perfect trim, the unexpected color, the old piece we absolutely have to keep, and that moment when suddenly it all clicks!!! 🫰

Your home should feel collected, layered and personal. Like you’ve been building it for years… even when we just spent a lot of hours making it look that way. 😉

And yes, a room full of fabric really is my happy place! ✨

Nine custom historic tiles walk into a design meeting… only one makes it out. 😂

Swipe through all 9 and tell me: which one do you think they picked? 👀

Because apparently “just pick a tile” is not how we do things around here.

Will AI replace designers? Well…
AI didn’t design this room. We did.

The concept, selections, scale, materials and details came first. AI simply helped us visualize them.

And AI isn’t a magic “make it beautiful” button. Getting it to accurately represent a specific design can still take hours of prompting, correcting and refining.

Anyone can access the tool. But the design is only as good as the imagination and skill of the prompt engineer.

AI can create the image.
A designer has to create the vision from this empty room….and now we can’t wait to see it come to life! ✨

While replacing a window in our studio built in 1931, we found a time capsule! The Kingsport Times newspaper from New Years Day 1954! I am over here designing in AI visualizations as these emerged out of the walls….proof we are the children of the future! It was fun to take a look at the past….

We have been neck deep in wallpaper for weeks. We have had fun putting together options for each area of a historic home. If you need wallpaper, look no further- we have hundreds of samples for you to play house with! Of these, which collections are your favorite? Stick around to see what they choose and how paint coordinates will bring it all home. ✨
