I call this the Sock Knitter's Needle Set. It is the perfect set for the beginner sock knitter or anyone who knits socks, and consists of the woven paisley case by Buttermilk Cottage and five sets of DPNs.

Tucked inside this designer fabric 5-pocket needle case are 5 sets of the sock knitter's preferred needle sizes. Each set includes a five needle set of Sizes 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 (2.0, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25, 3.5 mm). They are 5-inch (13 cm.) long needles.

Crocheters don't need to know how to knit, but knitters need to know a little crocheting....
There are lots of places on a knitted piece, for a little crochet edging--around the neck, sleeve cuffs, a button edging, etc. And a knitter MUST have some hooks in her bag for correcting mistakes and reweaving a dropped stitch.
