šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø Steeped in History šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

Iā€™ve been going through a lot of family things lately, and a few months ago I came across my Nanaā€™s vintage Liberty Blue teacups and saucers from the Bicentennial era.

The cups feature Paul Revere, the saucers feature Old North Church - and tea scented wax melts in Bicentennial teacups during Americaā€™s 250th anniversary just felt too perfect not to do.

If you know me, you know Iā€™m sentimental. My Nana was my original crafting buddy, and I have more of her things than I could ever realistically keep. Instead of letting these sit tucked away in a cabinet forever, I wanted to give them a new life.

So I poured tiny tea scented wax melts, sprinkled them with black tea, and turned them into something cozy, nostalgic, and meaningful.

Each set includes:

ā˜• Vintage Liberty Blue teacup
ā˜• Matching saucer
ā˜• Approximately 25 tea scented wax melts packaged in tea bags
ā˜• Story card

Since these are pieces from my Nanaā€™s collection, only a limited number are available.

This little basket is heading out to Leigh Harkins Gerow, who placed my 1,500th website order. šŸŽ‰ Itā€™s filled with goodies from some small businesses whose products I genuinely love.

One of my favorite parts of owning a small business has been meeting so many talented makers along the way, and putting this together was such a fun way to celebrate this milestone.

This week Iā€™ve been spending my evenings surrounded by little wax melts, black tea, and vintage teacups.

Steeped in History is a very limited release, and itā€™ll be available Friday at 6 PM EST.

Iā€™ll share the full story behind them on Friday, but this project has a lot of meaning to me. Itā€™s one of those ideas that came together exactly the way I hoped it would.

Honestlyā€¦ this feels surreal to even type. What started as a little creative outlet somehow turned into 1,500 website orders worth of support, encouragement, and people choosing something I made with my own two hands. šŸ„¹

Weā€™re only a handful of orders away, so I wanted to do something a little different.
