🌸 POV Explanation 🌸.. Reason for the Poll.
I recently had a customer who told me that decorated cookies anything less than 4-5 inches were actually cheating people. Her reasoning seemed to be that since decorated cookies were more costly they should be very large.
I pointed out that the ingredients, supplies, packaging, related expenses, time and care needed is why those types of cookies cost more. And the larger the cookie, the more they cost.
I ALWAYS give extras to my customers. I want them to be happy with their orders ... not just satisfied, HAPPY! It actually hurt my feelings that she felt like I may be "cheating" a customer.
I'm a hobby baker. I love what I do and take it very seriously. I've also never broken even financially doing this. I'm disabled so this keeps me occupied, and I truly love making my cookies and cupcakes.
Anyway - sorry for long ramble but I wanted y'all to know why I posted the Poll. Your opinions are very important to me. I appreciate all of you taking the time to share your thoughts. ⚘️🫂
