Well friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers, tomorrow will be my last day at the Pine Cupboard. I hope that many of you will stop by and tell me goodbye and what a wonderful job I've done running your favorite place to shop. LOL. I'm going to miss all of you but I know I'll be seeing most of you at Brookshire Brothers or the post office or at a gas pump. It's been a great run and I've enjoyed every minute of it but it's time for me to do something different. I know I'll have a problem passing an estate sale or garage sale without buying something. I might even consider doing an estate sale for someone if it looks like a really good one so keep me in mind. I'll still be your go-to if you have an item that is really old and you need help identifying or pricing. My brain is still good so don't hesitate to ask. I will still buy gold because I know I can sell that on eBay so if you have an old broken gold necklace or bracelet or old jewelry that belong to your great-great-great-grandmother, bring it to me. Come by tomorrow and see what I have. Some things I might consider a reasonable offer if you're interested. I love you all and I will miss you.

If you're looking for that last minute Christmas gift, come by the Pine Cupboard this morning. We have something for everyone in our shop. I will be closing around noon for Christmas Eve and we will be closed all day tomorrow. I'll be retiring the last day of this year so if nothing else just come by and tell me hello or goodbye or whatever. I love all of you and I'll be seeing you at Brookshire's or this service station or somewhere around town.

My retirement and birthday party at the pine cupboard was a wonderful experience. We had a beautiful homemade cake and cupcakes made by Bobby Sheffield. She is so talented. I'm still running 30% off on all my merchandise so come by and check it out. Lots of items in our shop make very special Christmas gifts. After 55 wonderful long years in the antique business, I have finally decided to retire. January 1st the Pine Cupboard will no longer be my baby. I've enjoyed every day and loved every person that I have met through this journey. Now it's time for me to start a new journey. I'm well and still able to go and do anything I want to do but I will be 80 years old in 2 years and think I might try something new. UNEMPLOYMENT. I might hate it and I might love it. I will be in and out here and helping Joyce when she needs me. I have 30% off of all my merchandise. I'm going to miss you all but I will see you around. We are having our Christmas open house next Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 so please come by and have refreshments and visit for a while. Here are some pictures of some things that we have in the shop. If you don't see what you like just let us know and we'll find it for you.

We're really enjoying the cool weather at the Pine Cupboard. We have a lot of stuff for you to sort through and sales going on. I personally have 30% off in my booth and another vendor has 50% off and others have 10 to 20% off. It's a good time to come shop for Christmas. Today we have Granny's old fashioned Southern fruit cake. Just in, a nice selection of vintage Wilton aluminum cake pans, a world globe, a military sword, and a CorningWare cornflower blue Dutch oven.
