COWBOY SLIDERS
These sandwhiches are great for your stoneware dish! 😊
INGREDIENTS
1 yellow onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1.5 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning (I used Freddy’s)
2 medium jalapeño pepper, seeded, sliced
6 slices thick-cut bacon
You can use shredded cheese or cheese slices of your choice (I used chipotle)
1 cup (80 g) French's crispy fried onions (optional-I left them out)
24 King's Hawaiian Rolls
COWBOY BUTTER
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1 tablespoon chives
1 tablespoon parsley
2 teaspoons thyme
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
â…› teaspoon pepper
â…› teaspoon cayenne pepper
â…› teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
DIRECTIONS
1. Set oven to 350
2. Grease your pan and place the bottom half of your rolls in the bottom
3. Combine the cowboy butter ingredients into a bowl and spread onto each bottom roll
4. Cook your hamburger, add the onion and seasoning of your choice
5. Cook your bacon
6. Spread the hamburger mixture on the bottom half of the rolls, add the bacon, a jalapeño slice to each roll, the French onions, and a slice of cheese to each.
7. Add your top buns and spread the rest of your butter mixture on top.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Take the foil off and brown the tops for another 5 minutes.
