💕 What a weekend. What a group. What an experience. 💕
This past weekend I attended my very first Make & Take retreat with Kandi’s Kreative Krew Design School in beautiful Savannah, Georgia, and I can honestly say it will not be my last.
For those who may not know, a Make & Take retreat is where designers from all over the country come together to learn, create, and build alongside our coaches in real time. We all make the same designs together and then get to bring those creations home with us. But what I discovered is that the designs are only part of the experience.
The creativity, camaraderie, laughter, vulnerability, encouragement, friendships, and genuine connections made this weekend something truly special. Every conversation, every shared story, and every person I met added something meaningful to my experience.
One of my favorite memories happened on our final night. What started as a small dinner with just four friends somehow grew into a table of eight. We spent hours sharing our stories, talking about our journeys, our motivations, our businesses, and our lives. By the end of the evening, we weren’t just fellow attendees—we were friends.
Some of us have already purchased our tickets for next year, and I completely understand why. ❤️
To every single person I crossed paths with this weekend, thank you. Whether we laughed together, learned together, shared a meal, or simply had a conversation, you made an impact on me. I am leaving Savannah with a full heart, wonderful memories, new friendships, and a renewed excitement for this creative journey.
