Working on pieces for The Holiday Shoppes at Oak Ridge Art Center. The best part of today is no machines running and I can just listen to music as I work.

Juried Open Show at Oak Ridge Art Center show was yesterday. I was honored to win an award. The Jane Johnson Memorial Award: “ For excellence in any medium that depicts musical reference, rhythm, cadence or flow.
It was for my work titled “ Free Fallin’”. By coincidence, its really the only piece i have made that i can remember the exact moment the inspiration hit me. And it took 4 years to figure out how to bring my imagination to reality.

I won’t be able to have it at my booth at the Foothill Craft Guide show at the end of the month, but its at the Oak Ridge Art Center til November if you want to see it in person.
