She was a night nurse that worked in the ER. He was a mechanic working long days in the shop. They had dreams of building a house and starting a family. They agreed that they would both work hard hours the first few years of their marriage so that they could have a solid financial rock to build on. Their saving grace was a couples journal.

A Do Si Do journal held the threads of passion that bound their relationship together. One side was letters and notes from him to her, while the other side was tender moments and heartfelt words that she shared with him.

I am a Christian who finds the practice of prayer vital and personal. Unfortunately my heart, mind and mouth don't always put words together eloquently.

A prayer journal is a personal record of your conversations with God. It doesn't need to have answers. In fact, it can be filled to the brim with purely questions and scattered thoughts, and it'd still be a good thing if it's directed at the Lord. It can have lengthy entries or short notes.

I'm not creating. Why would I need a book or a journal? Maybe a bullet journal is more your speed.

A bullet journal is a method of personal organization developed by digital product designer Ryder Carroll. The system organizes scheduling, reminders, to-do lists, brainstorming, and other organizational tasks into a single notebook.

Most bullet journal folks are looking for a unique or one of a kind book since it goes everywhere with them. And I happen to know a gal who is passionate about unique books. Oh wait that's me!

Books aren't just for reading anymore! An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning. An altered book artist takes a book and modifies it in any of various ways, such as cutting, tearing or folding, or embedding objects.
Maybe reading isn't for you. Maybe you have the creative bug and need a new adventure. Try to alter a book.
