Dove season is here, and these Seared Dove Breast Tacos may be one of the best ways we’ve ever cooked our harvest!

Comment RECIPE and I’ll send it right over!

The dove breasts get a quick three-ingredient marinade with avocado oil, fresh lime juice, and jalapeƱo seasoning SPICE THAT before being seared hot and fast in cast iron. Then we pile them into warm tortillas with avocado, tomato, onion, grilled green onions, and a fresh squeeze of lime.

No heavy sauce or complicated toppings—just a simple taco that lets the flavor of the dove shine.

Smoked a whole chicken flavored with my favorite seasonings! šŸŖµšŸ”„While the chicken was smoking, I threw some jalapeƱos on the grill to soften their texture and boost the flavor. Once everything was smoked, I shredded the chicken and mixed it with cream cheese, grated cheddar, crispy bacon, and those smoked jalapeƱos.I used mayo on the outside of the bread to get that perfect crust, but that’s totally up to you—I’m usually a huge butter fan myself! Layer a thick layer of this filling onto your bread and toast it on the griddle. I used a jalapeƱo popper bread for this one, and it was incredible. 🤤🄪What’s your go-to trick for the perfect toasted sandwich crust: butter or mayo? Let me know below! šŸ‘‡ Pit Boss Grills

The BEST bite in barbecue may come from the fattiest part of the brisket! šŸ”„

After smoking a whole brisket, we separated the point and cut it into thick cubes. Then we added BBQ sauce, hot honey, brown sugar, butter, and seasoning before putting everything back on the smoker until the edges were caramelized and the sauce was sticky.

Smoky on the outside, incredibly tender on the inside, and packed with rich beef flavor—this is why brisket burnt ends are called ā€œmeat candy.ā€

They don’t call brisket burnt ends ā€œmeat candyā€ for nothing! šŸ”„

We smoked a whole brisket, separated the point, and cut that rich, fatty meat into bite-sized cubes. Then we loaded them with BBQ sauce, hot honey, brown sugar, butter, and another hit of seasoning before sending them back to the smoker.

The result? Sticky, smoky, caramelized brisket burnt ends with a lightly charred exterior and a juicy, tender center. This may be the BEST bite in barbecue!

Dove season is officially here šŸŽÆ — and if you've got a cooler full of breasts and no idea what to make with them, we've got 3 recipes to fix that.

This week we're sharing our go-to dove recipes:

šŸ„“ Bacon Wrapped Dove Poppers – cream cheese, jalapeƱo, and dove wrapped in bacon. If you've never made these, start here.

šŸÆ Smoked Dove Breasts with Sweet BBQ Glaze – bacon-wrapped, smoked low and slow, then tossed in a sticky sweet chili BBQ glaze. Think Li'l Smokies, but better.

There’s no better way to break in the brand-new Pit Boss Navigator 3 Vertical Series than with a big smoked pork butt!

Comment RECIPE and I’ll send it right over, or check out the first comment below for the recipe.

We seasoned it well, smoked it low and slow until it developed a beautiful bark, and finished it with a mixture of butter, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and apple juice.

It came off the smoker tender, juicy, and packed with smoky barbecue flavor. For the first cook on this new Pit Boss, I’d call that a huge success!

This smoked pulled pork is tender, juicy, and loaded with barbecue flavor!

Comment RECIPE and I’ll send it right over!

The pork butt is seasoned with our ā€˜Que That BBQ Seasoning and smoked low and slow until the bark is dark and the meat pulls apart effortlessly.

Then we finish it with a buttery mixture of Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and apple juice. That combination adds moisture and a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, smoky, and spicy flavor.

Pile it onto sandwiches, serve it with your favorite sides, or eat it straight from the pan!
