Project Highlight | D.R. Horton Headquarters

Designed to support both current operations and future growth, this new 30,000 SF, two-story headquarters in West Knoxville was master planned to accommodate a future Phase II office building while creating a functional campus environment centered around collaboration and flexibility.

The building features a mix of open and walled offices, flexible meeting and training spaces, and a large open corridor designed to encourage collaboration and informal interaction between departments. Expansive floor-to-ceiling storefront glazing maximizes daylight and exterior visibility, while exposed structural elements contribute to the architectural character of the space.

Progress is taking shape at the new Knox County Engineering and Public Works Administration Building. Coming to life as a centralized hub for essential public services, the facility will bring together Planning, Zoning, Engineering, Codes Review, Stormwater, Fire, Veterans Services, and UT Extension under one roof.

This 51,300 SF building is designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and community connection in Knoxville, featuring public meeting spaces, training rooms, a demonstration kitchen, and a welcoming front door for Knox County services.

A fresh new home for pediatric care in Knoxville ✨ With five locations across East Tennessee, Knoxville Pediatric Associates needed an updated Knoxville office to better serve their growing community. The practice relocated nearby into an existing 10,500 SF one-story building that was fully reconfigured to meet their needs. The new space includes a reception area and waiting rooms, exam rooms, nurse stations, offices, an x-ray room, and a lab.

Our interiors team thoughtfully selected neutral and durable finishes, light wood tones and pastel accents suited for a younger patient demographic. Mountain-inspired murals pay homage to the local east Tennessee scenery and create a fun and inviting environment. Strategically placed windows and doors bring abundant natural light into the public spaces, while low walls at the lab and nurses’ station help the interior feel brighter and more open. Integrated lighting and wayfinding elements help guide patients and families to the waiting and exam rooms.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT | VALERIE GOZZO

With 7 years of professional experience, primarily in Houston, TX where she was raised, Valerie began her career right out of college and advanced to the position of Studio Manager. She led a Tenant Interiors team of 3-4 members, working on diverse projects including industrial, retail, and corporate office spaces. Seeking a change of scenery and to be closer to family in the southeast, Valerie and her partner Logan relocated to Knoxville in 2024. After working remotely for about 9 months, she realized she preferred in-person collaboration. Valerie sought a company that offered a stronger focus on interior design and larger-scale projects, providing new challenges and learning opportunities.

In her free time, Valerie and Logan enjoy hiking and kayaking adventures. She also loves baking, being creative with her hands, and reading. Additionally, she is very fond of her cat, Nigel, and her dog, Nala.
