We were founded in 1979 by Mike Frazier and Walter Carter. Knox Rail Salvage was built on a simple promise: to deliver outstanding value and consistently low prices. You may know that our business originally began by working with railroad freight opportunities. Hence the name Knox Rail Salvage. Since our beginnings we have grown and evolved significantly. Today, we focus primarily on sourcing quality home improvement products such as cabinets, flooring, roofing, doors, vanities, and home décor at discounted prices.
We are proud to be Knoxville’s premier home improvement discount store, often saving customers up to 50% compared to big-box retailers.
