We were called out to troubleshoot an existing whole-home audio system that had been giving the new homeowners trouble. A previous technician had spent three days trying to track down the issue.
We were able to diagnose the problem in 15 minutes, resolve it, and correct the poor wiring and connections throughout the house within a few short hours.
As we worked through the system, we discovered poor wiring and connections throughout the entire house. The first photo is just one example of the improper installation we found… and we won’t even talk about all the wires going to the L speakers.
Properly stripped and twisted speaker wire, secure connections, correct polarity, and clean terminations may not be something you ever see once everything is installed, but they can make a huge difference in how reliably your audio system performs.
This was just one of many issues we found during the troubleshooting process.
Good equipment is only part of the equation. Good installation matters, too.

You don’t always know what you need until you actually need it.

Story time…

A couple bought a new home that had a partial camera system already installed. The husband wanted to make use of it, but his wife wasn’t fully convinced the cameras were really necessary.

Since the cameras were already there, they decided to have us get them working. We connected the existing cameras to a new NVR, set everything up, and got the system fully operational.

About a month later, a fire broke out near their property.

The cameras captured exactly how it started. They were able to go back and see who was there, what happened, and how the fire began.

They didn’t need a brand-new system. They just needed the existing cameras to actually work and record.

Thankfully, they had them when they needed them.

Sometimes, the things that seem unnecessary today can become incredibly valuable tomorrow.

We had the chance to work with some truly amazing clients this past month who just moved into their forever home, and it was a joy to be part of it.
