A couple of my wall art pieces are now on display at the Pump House Gallery in La Crosse. I'll be there this Friday for the artist reception (3/6) between 5-7pm. Come by to have a look and some free snacks!

There has been so much amazing loon artwork lately, inspired by the citizens of Minnesota and their resistance to the ICE occupation. I wanted to carve this to honor them and donate the proceeds to a charity in the Twin Cities.

The dark and light feathers are carved from layered walnut and salted maple, with a vibrant purpleheart wood dowel for the red eye detail.
