Rock Creek Pottery is excited to announce that we will be a vendor at the Knoxville Medieval Festival on Saturday, June 6, at 5821 Babelay Road in Knoxville!

Step back in time and experience a day filled with medieval fun, featuring an assortment of Renaissance vendors, live entertainment, demonstrations, and activities for all ages. Be sure to stop by our booth to browse our handcrafted pottery and find a unique piece to take home.

When this bowl flopped I acted fast. It was all but done on the wheel so I quickly turned it upside down and propped it on two things allowing it to hang. I didn’t change anything about how it “flopped over”. From mistake to beauty! How many of you can relate? I almost want to keep it for myself.

I am delighted to announce that my work will be showcased at the LMU Arts in the Gap building for the summer. The collection, “The Sunday Table,” consists of functional pieces designed to bring people together. Each piece is available for purchase, but will remain on display as part of the collection until the end of the exhibition. Three pieces will be offered at silent auction, with all proceeds supporting a non-profit organization in Middlesboro. I invite you to visit during summer class hours or attend the reception in August (date TBD).

Mother’s Day Market at Robins Nest in LaFollette. Up the valley on Hwy 63 smack dab in the middle of all the road construction but we got plenty of room for you to park. We’ve got all kinds of vendors and food and Mother’s Day gift gifts for all you last-minute shoppers. Come on out and see us.

Latest kiln unloading. Getting ready to show some pieces at the LMU Art center in Cumberland Gap over the summer, as well as the Art and Wine Festival Saturday. Happy with some and thrilled with others.
