This post is a bit delayed…I have been getting a few requests to redo furniture with peeling leather/vinyl. Here is another project that has been renovated. I worked with the customer on going a different route with the colors. They are thrilled! These stools have a different look and feel like new furniture! They look great in their kitchen! The all cream is the before.

Rolling out some small jobs, while the supplies come in for the larger ones. Finished 6 of these dining chairs for a customer. The finish on the leather was peeling off. Unfortunately, I get a lot of requests to redo this exact issue. The customer picked a fabric this time and I love it! Pictures don’t do it justice!

Hello everyone! I am finally home and getting back to work. What a year, lol! The shop is full of beautiful furniture that is awaiting its new lease on life! There are about 40 pieces of furniture in the que. I have a waiting list for the early part of next year, so let me know if you would like to get put on it!

Sometimes customers change their minds and a spot opens up, so the waitlist can adjust!

I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this transitional time with my family. My commitment to my customers and the quality of work that leaves the shop, is my main focus.

Many of you know that I have been moving my Mom and selling her home. I have a few pieces of furniture that I am trying to sell for her. These are upholstered pieces that I have for sale. I DID NOT upholster these. I will post a description with each photo. Please message me if you are interested in purchasing any of these items.

I also have 2 white/mirrored night stands, antique mirrored cabinets, and some misc items. If you are interested in seeing what those are, you can private message me and I will send you some pics & pricing.

Just wanted to pop on and post an update…I‘m currently still off work. It took almost 8-weeks to get my Mom moved into Assisted Living and prepare her condo to be put on the market. I am not sure when I will be back up and running. I need to go back to Florida in a week to finish up some things.
I also need to address some health issues that I have been neglecting.

Due to my absence, I am no longer taking anymore work this year. I will be getting caught up and taking care of my current customers. Due to the financial climate and fluctuations in materials, I will not be doing any hard estimates that will carry over to next year.

Thank you so much for all the support and understanding. I will keep everyone updated as things change.

This customer had purchased these dining room chairs second hand. She wanted to use them in her dining room with her Duncan Phyfe dining table. The chairs had paint on them and the wood finish was in bad shape. She had the wood stripped and refinished and then brought them to me to do new seats. We helped her with fabric selection and we rebuilt the seats. The fabric used was D1201 Beach by Charlotte Fabric. The photos don’t do the transformation justice but they really were brought back to life!

My customer just finished building a new home and had a mudroom/lounge room. We were tasked with making new cushions for the bench seats. She showed me pictures of the new space and the furniture she was using. She said she wanted a plaid fabric for the cushions. I provided her with many samples and made a couple of recommendations. She chose D3541 Barnwood from Charlotte Fabrics. I recommended using a cording color that matched the leather in her chairs. So we went with V778 Saddle also from Charlotte Fabrics. I have used this plaid fabric before and I love working with it. The room looks amazing!

Currently out of town, moving my mom into assisted living. The following projects are a bit late in posting.

This customer had 2 projects that we completed for her. First were 8 white bar stools. They had an older vinyl on them that was starting to peel. We ordered a heavy grade vinyl to recover them in. They get a ton of use and are ready for many more use.

Second project was a master bedroom headboard. It was originally in a black alligator, print leather. The decorative animal print was peeling and making a mess. We replaced the fabric with a cream animal print chenille. Instead of decorative nail heads we added a double welt cord. The fabric used was D3768 Cream by Charlotte Fabrics. This transformation really brights up the bedroom.
