Yesterday was a day filled with laughter, smiles, and so much love. We hosted and were lucky enough to have many of the ones we love most gathered together under one roof.
Moments like these are what this season is all about — togetherness, joy, and making memories that will last far beyond the lights. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a smile, dropped off a letter, or simply took a moment to enjoy the magic with us.
✨ Our lights will remain up and on through January 1st, so if you haven’t had a chance to stop by yet, there’s still time to come experience the magic.

Today, Santa Pete NJ made a special visit to the randomly picked kiddos and by pure chance, they just happened to be friends! 🎅❤️

Savannah and Hayden arrived together at The Mergs Light It Up and dropped off their letters. On the 16th, without knowing it, Dan randomly picked one name and I randomly picked the other. Sometimes Christmas magic really does its thing. ✨
Of course, we couldn’t leave Savannah’s brothers, Roman and Leo, out of the fun — because Christmas joy is always better when it’s shared.
Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. 🎄💫

Unfortunately, the snow is still winning. One of the circuits in our display keeps popping, so we’re working through it and appreciate everyone’s patience.

Well… the snow won tonight! 😂❄️
With about 6 inches on the ground, the Christmas light display will be OFF this evening while we shovel and make things safe.
We’ll keep you posted on when we’re back up and glowing! 🎅✨

Last night at The Mergs Light It Up house, I was inside getting my girls ready for bed when all of a sudden I heard the choir music start playing outside — that’s my cue.

I ran to the door, and there were four teenage girls from Newton HS (they had varisty jackets on) standing there, giggling and laughing.

I grabbed some candy canes and went outside. I took group photos for them while they told me how much they loved everything, how magical it felt, and how much fun they were having. They just stood there, soaking it all in.

Honestly… it warmed my heart in a way I can’t even explain.

Today, I opened the Santa letter box just to peek — and there was a letter inside not in envelope.

And all I have to say is this:
Taylor, if you’re on this page… you are getting all three of those wishes. I could feel it the moment I read your letter. I just know it. I bet you make your parents extremely proud.

You’ve got this. 🎄✨❤️

📬 THE SANTA HOUSE & MAILBOX TRADITION
Have your kiddos drop their letters to Santa right in our special red mailbox by the little Santa House! Letters can be written at home or inside the house using the paper and pens we provide. Last letter to be accepted for the surprise gift delivery is DEC 15TH. We will be picking the 16th.

⭐ Please include 3 reasonable gift ideas, and don’t forget to add a parent name, phone number, and town so Santa’s helpers can reach you!

🎁 SURPRISE GIFT DELIVERY
Just like last year, Santa's helpers will be choosing two letters at random to bless two children with a special gift delivery on December 20th.
Nothing big or flashy — just a sweet way to spread a little magic and make a child smile. ❤️🎅✨

We are proudly collecting donations for Benny’s Bodega, who continues to help working families in need. If you’d like to contribute, we are accepting non-perishable food items! 🌧️❄️ LIGHTS OFF TONIGHT – SAFETY FIRST! ❄️🌧️

Hi everyone! Just a quick update — due to the snow and rain, we’ll be keeping our Christmas lights off tonight. Moisture can cause electrical issues, and we want to make sure everything stays safe (for us and all our visitors!).
